Here we have a new explosion proof control station enclosure for use with one 30MM control device. It can be used to accommodate a pushbutton, a pilot light, a rheostat, or a selector switch. Made by General Electric, catalog number CR103J1A. It is for use with their CR103J series 30MM hazardous area control devices. When used with the proper control device this station is rated for Class 1 Division 1 Groups C & D and for Class 2 Division 1 Groups E, F, & G. It is made of cast aluminum and has a 3/4" NPT conduit hub in one end. The cover has a threaded hub for the field installation of the control device. The cover attaches to the box with four machine screws, one on each corner. This unit is new and has never been installed. It was returned from a project at a petroleum refinery. It has been taken out of the original package and has dirt, scratches, and scuff marks on the exterior. None of this affects the structural integrity of the enclosure or it's performance.
