The use of LED lighting technology is becoming more popular since it is efficient to operate, emits steady, high-quality illumination, and the price is decreasing. Additionally, the LT40 is capable of assessing regular light sources such as fluorescent, metal halide, high pressure sodium, and incandescent up to 400,000 lux (40,000 Fc). It can be used in office buildings, manufacturing plants, warehouses, college campuses, schools, hospitals, and various other locations. OSHA determines workplace lighting requirements because adequate illumination is necessary for assigned tasks, and light meters are utilized to authenticate regulatory compliance as well as state and local public safety codes and ordinances. The light meter comes with two AAA batteries, a built-in sensor with a protective cover, a user's manual, and a storage pouch. The Extech LT40 LED Light Meter in green is a top-performing tool for measuring and adjusting ambient light levels in a multitude of settings. Furthermore, the device's measurements are cosine and color corrected, with a minimum/maximum average. It displays information on a 4000 count LCD screen and has automatic ranging and delay shutoff features.
