ACS5000-DB DOOR EXPANSION BOARD • The ACS5000-DB expansion board is a flexible expansion board which enables any Brivo access control system to connect to two additional doors to an ACS5000 panel. The panel interfaces with Brivo’s OnAir, Aparato and stand-alone platforms and provides two additional Wiegand reader inputs as well as two general purpose inputs and outputs to the network. • An ACS5000 panel can support any combination of 14 expansion boards providing support for up to 30 doors per controller. • Users can create a custom system by combining door and input/output expansion boards to meet their unique access security needs. As the needs of a security system inevitably grow, this board provides a cost-effective solution without the need for additional controllers. ITEM INFORMATION OVERVIEW The ACS5000-DB dual reader expansion board provides two additional Wiegand reader inputs to the Brivo ACS5000 series control panels. Each reader node (input) provides (1) form C (SPDT) output relay for lock power switching, (1) dedicated request to exit input, (1) dedicated door position switch input, (2) auxiliary inputs, and (2) auxiliary Form C (SPDT) output relays. Each input point can be programmed for input line supervision and for normally open or normally closed inputs. ACS5000-DB expansion boards; ACS5000-DB Expansion Board must be connected to an ACS5000-E, ACS5000-W/G or ACS5000-S control panel to operate properly. Brivo ACS5000 series control panels support any combination of ACS5000-I/O and ACS5000-DB expansion boards up to a maximum of 14 expansion boards per ACS5000 series control panel and are connected via high speed bus.
