I purchased this espresso machine new in 1998. It is a Faema E98, Compact A1 commerical espresso machine (1 group), fully automatic espression Machine - I loved it but it was part of a "chick" shop - gift baskets, gifts, rubber stamping shop and although I had a following - it was never enough to support itself. I closed the business in 2003 and have had it in my home - the idea was, we'd have the bitchinest espresso in-home - however, we found we never really used it. We are now redoing our kitchen and it is time for it to leave the next. It can be used either with pods (that I go through ABCD Coffee in Conshohocken, PA - also where I purchased the machine) or it can be used with freshly ground coffee - it has both porta-filters. I also has the frother wand and automatic frother attached. This machine is designed with a small footprint and runs on 120V power. I loved this machine. You can program this to do cappuccinomatic and set it for different timed pulls - or you can do it yourself. I do believe I know where the manual is and will include that as well. In addition - this has a reservoir that can be filled in the back so you do not need a direct water source - but it can be hooked up directly and I also have a pump - I used to have a 5 gallon plastic bottle of water with the hose and pump which would keep the reservoir full. I paid 400.00 for the pump - it does have a light leak and could use a new gasket - but that is also included. The Cappuccinomatic feature allows the FAEMA E98 Compact A1 commercial espresso machine to automatically siphon milk from a milk source, and to automatically make latte or cappuccino with the push of a button. This machine has a hot water wand that can be programmed to give you hot water output (in a dose setting) - which is great for making Americanos too. This is the information that comes with the machine: NSF Certification; Single steam wand; Cappuccinomatic feature (see Frigobox in "Accessories" section); Water wand with programmable dosing; 120 Volt operation at 50-60 Hertz; Power is 1700 Watts at 120 Volts; Boiler capacity is 2.5 liters with Hot Water Economizer using added water tank; Additional built-in water tank capacity of 3.5 liters; High group head accomodates tall cups (4 inches); Extra small footprint and household voltage; Weight is 108 pounds; Height - 22.9 inches; Depth is 20 inches; Width is 14.6 inches. If you want this shipped - you will have to arrange for freight pick-up - if you want to pick up that is possible though I meet at a public place - the police station parking lot (can never be too save). When we last put it away it worked perfectly - I do believe it will have to be re-programmed - and while I believe it to be in good working order - from it sitting it is hard to know about gaskets, etc. I am therefore offering this at a reduced price in the event it will need any work. We would have this serviced occasionally and that would be appx. $80.00-$150.00 - just to have everything inside gone over. We are accepting offers so just in the event there is an issue - keep your bid in mind with the potential of a small service issue - I don't anticipate one, and say this only to be absolutely careful on your end and so that you understand how the machine has been taken care of, etc. I try and list things as honestly as possible. I previously sold the other espresso machine we had - which I never thought worked as good as this one did - but there were no problems or complaints and I listed it just like this so that the buyer knew to allow for the potential of a little maintenance from the machine sitting. Gaskets and hoses can dry out. Given the weight and difficulty I will not take returns - I rarely do that but it just because of it being so heavy and a freight item.
