Type Z Hit and Miss Engine   Instructions No. 2407C This manual covers setting up and operating the engine The first section covers what to do before starting the engine, starting procedures, adjustments after the engine is running and how to stop the engine The next section is a description of parts of the engine and manner of adjustment. Things covered are suction feed, ignitor, replacing points, adjusting electrodes, igniter setting and cleaning, setting gears and valve setting Next are the instructions for timing and care of Sumter built in Magneto. Covered are magneto gear markings, timing the magneto, oiling the magneto and trouble shooting The next section covers the cleaning, adjusting and care of parts of the engine. Covered are inlet valve, cleaning and re-grinding the inlet valve, cleaning and re-grinding the exhaust valve, action of the governor, governor repair, throttle valve and removing the piston and rings The repair parts list is complete with a full page illustration This manual contains a lot of useful information and the repair parts list is extensive.
