You are bidding on a used F A R O Arm Silver 3 dimensional coordinate measuring machine This item is in great condition and in working order Included with this item are the following: Power supply and all connection cables Manuals Mounting base Rolling stand Shipping case A few comments on the above items. 1) In case you didn't know, this model Faro Arm operates using a serial connection between it and the computer. Many modern computers do not have a serial port. A serial port interface card can be added to your computer if your computer has an available PCI slot or other interface that can receive a serial communications add-on device. 2) The included manuals pertain to the arm and one of the software products that can be used with this arm. There is no actual software included with this item. You will need to supply your own software. 3) I did test this arm using a demo copy of Rhino 3D CAD software and confirmed that the arm is in working order and produces usable data. Since my copy of Rhino was a demo copy, I am not including it with this item. You may choose to obtain a demo copy of Rhino as one of the means of interacting with this arm and eventually purchase a full copy of this software if it does what you need it do. 4) The mounting base is the square black metal plate that is bolted to the arm using 6 socket head screws. 5) The rolling stand was custom made for the arm. It is not a Faro product, but it was adapted from a different piece of equipment to fit the Faro arm. I found it to work quite well. It features a working height of about 30". It has heavy duty casters so the arm can be moved around. The casters also have easily extendable pads that convert the stand to stationary mode to provide a stable footing when using the arm for measuring. 6) The shipping case is the Faro factory case. It houses the arm and its accessories. The stand will be shipped in a separate box. If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
