I have an extra one of the super light and bright LED lights to use with a pair of loupes or regular eyeglasses.  This LED light is very bright and helps visualizing the surgical or treatment sites. The light works very well, but the connection socket of the battery pack has an issue. At a very specific angle it will turn the light off.  Purchased 2 years ago, this light was rarely used because of the problem with the battery pack and because I had another one I didn't bother to fix it. So, whatever the life of the original LED light was, you still have most of them.  I will still include the not-so-perfect battery pack, so it's up to you whether you try and keep it or buy a new one. If you don't mind taping around the socket so that it won't create the specific angle, this will be a great deal for you. The brand new battery pack can be ordered from the manufacturer for $245. If you're a student of a resident, you can buy it for $195. The package will include the LED headlight, the not-so-perfect battery pack, and the charger.  The original retail price for the light+battery pack was $695+tax. Feather Light LED is one of the best, if not the best, selling LED lights for loupes.It's the smallest and lightest LED light for surgical or dental loupes. A custom-fit attachment bracket can be ordered from the manufacturer with a little cost to fit any loupes or even regular eyeglasses. The LED light weighs 3g, or 0.13 oz, and its equivalent to 3,600 Footcandles.  The battery weights 5 oz and lasts up to 8 hours continuously at the brightest setting, once fully charged (takes 3.5 hrs).
