  FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS INTENDED USE FIDO is a data management device that can retrieve, store and report test results on self-diagnostic testing from emergency lighting. FIDO is a cost-effective indoor gateway that connects your low-power sensor emergency wireless reporting system network. FIDO has the flexibility to host your mesh data locally via its built-in Web server and database. This compact edge router easily can be configured to meet the needs of your deployment. FIDO allows it to be configured on a 2.4GHz mesh network. CONSTRUCTION Constructed to withstand temperatures ranging from 0°C to 35°C. Relative humidity is non-condensing. ELECTRICAL Processor is ARM9 (200MHz). Onboard RAM memory is 64MB DDR SDRAM; onboard flash memory is 16MB NOR. Peripherals: 10/100 base-T ethernet channels, RJ45 connectors. IEEE 802.15.4 radio module (proprietary protocol) for wireless mesh communication. Input voltage is 100-240VAC. Supply frequency is 50-60Hz. Software: Linux Kernel 2.6 embedded. INSTALLATION Edge router capable of connecting to any local PC with Web browser via crossover cable (provided) or to network system via Ethernet cable (not provided). Internet and e-mail capability standard. Each system is commissioned with FIDO-compatible emergency lighting fixtures. Maximum of 500 fixtures per edge router.
