Fire alarm strobe. Terrific experimenter item. These are in overall excellent condition, and appear to be unused. The strobe circuit has been tested, and works. We think the operating voltage is 24 volts, but it works fine using two 9-volt batteries in series (18 volts), and also seems to operate fine on 12 volts, but at a slower flash rate. Dimensions are 6-7/8 x 4-3/4 x 2-3/4 inches (LxWxH). The flash unit can be removed as shown, by squeezing in 4 tabs. See disclaimers below. See our other listings for a 8 piece lot. Strobe circuit develops high voltage, use appropriate caution when working with circuit. Never work on circuit when power is applied. Discharge strobe flash capacitor before working on circuit.
