Fisher Scientific Model 48 Vacuum Oven For sale- a Fisher Scientific Model 48 Vacuum Oven. The oven is in good/used condition although the top is scratched up quite a bit as you can see in the pictures. Interior looks OK and comes with the shelves, etc. that you see in the photos. I poked around on the internet a bit, the couple of them that I saw were both 115VAC, this one is set up for 230. Which isn’t a big deal but the plug on the thing is a 20 amp four prong twist lock, I don’t have an outlet for that. Probably what I will do is pull the plug apart, I doubt this is a four wire piece. If it just needs 3 wire single phase (and I see no mention of 3 phase) I should be able to connect it to something and at least make sure it powers up and heats up. For now it is completely untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered. However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it. Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases. Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed. Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs, which will be substantial. Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested. As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.
