These pens comes with a black ink, medium point SPR Series Pressurised refill installed. These are made in the U.S.A. and are quality pens. MSRP on this pen is $20.00 Paul Fisher developed the pressurized ink cartridge for NASA in 1965 at no cost to NASA or the American government and it has been used on every Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. The refill is pressurized to 35 PSI and filled with a specially formulated thixotropic ink then hermetically sealed so it has a shelf life of 100 years.
