New 4 X 4 - 5K NTEP Floor Scale "Plug-n-play" This is an Domestic built, Industrial grade, Legal for Trade 4 X 4-5K lb. floor scale. The floor scale is manufactured of Domestic structural steel in Terre Haute, Indiana and ships direct form the manufacturer - Indiana Scale Company. Please contact us if interested in other sizes, capacities, or finishess. This listing is for the scale base,indicator and freight to a zoned commercial address with dock and forklift in the lower 48 states. This is a NTEP scale to be used for warehouse weight, loading trucks and internal usage and can be used when buying or selling on weight. The base itself is built from domestic steel, by an American welder at an American owned business, electronics are imported. The base is built with actual 1/4" thick tread plate (not 3/16" like imported, even if advertised as 1/4", measure it and you'll see) and a 2" channel perimeter and 7" channel @ 9.8# per foot structural channel understructure. The warranty is a full 3 year factory warranty on the base and a one year on electronics. The floor scale is calibrated to its digital indicator at the factory and is ready to weigh when you receive it. In order to use as NTEP, you must contact a state certified scale dealer or your local Weights and Measures office to be put into service. This is the case for all NTEP certifiable scales, they must be certified on site in order to use in trade!!! The basic keypad functions of the indicator are user friendly and a user manual is included. All you have to do to set-up the scale, is to remove the scale from the shipping pallet, pull the display out of the box and plug the 110 v. ac plug into a wall socket.
