***FOR AUCTION*** FLUKE 8050A DIGITAL MULTIMETER If you're looking at this item then you probably already know Fluke is hands-down the industry leader in quality electronic test equipment. That reputation was built on products just like this one. It reliability and ruggedness has withstood the test of time and this meter is still performing as well today as it was when it was new. This meter will make an excellent addition to your lab bench. I have owned this meter for several years. Recently I pulled the cover off and cleaned all of the contact and switches. I also replaced the rechargeable batteries so I could use it more conveniently in the field checking the output from some 4 - 20 mA transmitters on laboratory equipment. This is a wonderful meter and whether you are a novice, hobbyist or professional will give you many more years of reliable operation. With this meter I am including the meter, a set of test leads (not the original but decent quality), the manual on CD and a power cord. That is everything you need to start using your new meter right out of the box. I have tested all of the functions and ranges on the meter and everything works fine and the reading I got were what I expected. While I cannot swear to the accuracy of the calibration everything I checked was as it should be and I can guarantee the serviceability of the meter should you have the need to send it out for certified calibration. The cosmetic condition of the meter is good. The case has lost some of its "luster" from many years of use and there is a chip in the top side but there are no structural problems and no cracks or breaks that penetrate the case anywhere. The tilt stand works just fine and moves freely. All in all this is an excellent meter and I almost hate to part with it. Functions: DC volts, AC Volts (Linear & dB), DC Current, AC Current, Resistance, Diode Test, Conductance, Relative. This is truley a wonderful peice of gear- you will not regret your purchase!
