National Board Boiler and Pressure vessels serial #60789, date compliance "2000, M-06". The Groen TDB series kettles are a self contained, electric, steam jacketed kettle. Work by heating water into steam which heats the jacket of the kettle and the product. The product efficiently reaches the desired temperature that is set by the user on the thermostat. The Groen TDB kettle's thermostat can be set for product temperature control between 150 F to 295 F, standard, with other options available. The entire system is sealed making it efficient and easy to maintain. The Groen TDB kettles are easy to use, reliable, efficient, and are used by various industries throughout the world. Construction: Kettle is made of 304 stainless steel, one-piece welded construction. All exposed surfaces are stainless steel. Unit is furnished with a heavy reinforced rim with a welded-in butterfly shaped pouring lip for maximum sanitation and durability. Right or left hand tilt handle. Faucet bracket is standard and mounted on rear of electrical control box. Unit is ASME shop inspected, stamped and registered with the National Board for operation up to a maximum working pressure of 50 PSI, also is U.L. listed. Kettle has safety tilt cut-off (cuts off heat when tilted to 12° and above), pressure relief valve, high limit pressure switch and low water cut-off. 24V control system. Kettle automatically shuts off when desired temperature is reached and turns on when product temperature falls below desired setting. Pressure gauge for water/steam. Pressure relief valve. Sight glass for water check.
