I've owned this tractor for quite a few years, but rarely use it. I might brush hog a pasture, move a round bale or disk a garden which amounts to less than 40 hours a year. The tractor needs a new home and put to work and I need it gone. The tractor is solid and has worked well for me, but remember it is about 60 years old and selling -AS-IS-WWHERE-IS-.That said; 1.oks good from the road-fair paint-few dings and dents but solid. 2. Engine good, no smoke, starts and runs easy. 3. Transmission 5 speed, good all gears, much better than a 4 speed. 4. Brakes work good will stop tractor - can't tell about down hill with heavy load! 5. Hydraulics will easily handle a 4x5 bale however there is some play in the position lever. 6. Tires very good, new tubes in front, left rear new, right rear very good. 7. hours unknown, has new tach and amp guage - I'm not sure is the temp guage is still working. 8. Twelve volt conversion, one wire alternator works well. 9. Cooling system protected to 10 above. I've tried to describe it to the best of my knowledge, but guarantee nothing. I haven't plowed snow all day at 20 below r disked all day at 120 above so please keep that in mind. I can't tell you the serial number because its hidden behind one of the attach points for a one armed loader( worth $$ by themselves). Tried to price it right based on some reported results for auction by old tractors sites which say an average price for an 850 is in the range of about $3,800.. It is sold as a pick up with no shipping and I like paypal but I'd prefer cash on pick up, PLEASE, PLEASE no bids from anyone with less than 10 feedback unless you contact me first - this is not something I can mail you!!!
