Buy from someone that knows how to use this FID This unit had it's last internal calibration in 2000, although the last calibration sheet I could find was dated 1996. this unit is in working order. although if you plan to use it on any high profile projects I would recommend up-dating it's internal calibration. the unit is very clean and only requires Hydrogen and a full battery charge prior to use. I also have the external calibration kit that will be listed separately NOT included with this unit. The FOXBORO Century OVA-108 is a portable, self- contained FID and is suitable for measurement of light hydrocarbons. Audible alarms, battery operated and intrinsically safe for Class 1, Div. 1, Groups ABC&D areas. Uses 99.999% purity hydrogen as fuel gas. Suitable for VOC monitoring for Method 21(LDAR). The unit detects volatile organic compounds (combustible hydrocarbon gases) in the ranges of 1 to 10,000 ppm. Uses include soil sampling, fugitive emission testing, general air monitoring, leakage detection and other testing procedures involving Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
