ITEM DESCRIPTION: This is a used non-working FSI PT-100 air hydraulic riveting tool manufactured in the U.S.A. by Fastening Systems International (FSI). This powerful tool is heavily used by the military, aviation, and automotive industries for vehicle repair, and can be used in a wide variety of applications. This great tool is one of the most powerful, compact, and versatile hand riveting tools available. It is designed for the installation of a wide variety of blind rivet/fastener types including CherryMax rivets, Huck-Clinch rivets, pull-through Nutplate rivets, Pop rivets and rivnuts. This tool generates over 4,000 lbs of pulling force and operates with 90 to 120 psi of air pressure. It will pull blind rivets up to 1/4". This tool is compatible with a wide variety of nosepieces for rivets, and pull-up studs and driving anvils for rivnuts. With the appropriate adapter, it will accept straight, offset and 90 degree CherryMax pulling heads (none of these accessories are included). PLEASE NOTE! This tool does NOT come equipped with the normal F130 Nose Tube, Nosepieces, Jaws, and Jaw Follower that typically come with this tool. This tool is equipped with the F187 Adapter, which lets you attach straight, offset and right angle CherryMAX pulling heads (THESE PULLING HEADS NOT INCLUDED). ITEM CONDITION: This PT-100 tool is in good physical condition and very clean, as you can see in the photos. It has some cosmetic scuffs, nicks, scratches, grind marks, and engraving marks. The tool DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. The tool does cycle when air is applied and the trigger is pulled, but it doesn’t extend consistently and doesn’t achieve the full stroke. So this tool is sold strictly as-is for parts or repair. NO RETURNS ON THIS ITEM BECAUSE IT’S “NOT WORKING.” The hydraulic operation of this tool can easily be repaired, serviced and restored to full factory operational capability for approximately $70-75.
