Using a CAD program such as gEDA, or KiCAD to generate circuit boards. You can use this machine with Easel at Inventables! All parts needed to build your own CNC mill to make your own PCB's for your projects - hobby or professional. Build templates are included to build this kit to have a work area of 8" wide, 4" long" and 1" high. It can be modified for a longer width and length, up to 12" x 12" simply by increasing smooth and thread rod lengths. It comes with:- All plastic frame parts to build the CNC machine - RAMPS 1.4 with three stepper motor drivers, and Arduino Mega 2560 with GBRL (specific to CNC milling!) with USB cable - Three NMEA-17 stepper motors with 72oz. holding torque. These steppers are made in the USA! NOT CHEAP OVERSEAS units - 8mm threaded and smooth rods - Nuts and bolts for this machine - LM8UU linear bearings x12 - 608ZZ bearings x5 You will need to supply at least the following to build the machine: - 12Vdc, 5 amp power supply (connected to first green removable terminal below D8) - hobby knife - Allen wrench set - 1/8" or 3mm drill bit - drill - CNC machine base (to mount the frame parts to) - CNC machining work surface ( the sacrificial work surface you work gets attached to) - rotary tool or other spindle and milling/engraving bits - limit switches and wiring (optional) You will need a computer capable of running bCNC or other CAM program in order to control/operate the machine Parts are manufactured in Columbus, GA using durable ABS plastic. These parts are thick and heavy duty. The color of parts kits may vary. These *plastic* parts have a 120 day, one time individual part replacement warranty, from the date of sale.
