Up for sale is a used Full Spectrum Engineering 40w Hobby Laser.  This was purchased new in 2012 from Full Spectrum Engineering, and was used lightly for 2 years or so.  It has mostly sat as a backup for my working machine for the last year, and I decided I might as well sell it as I am getting another machine.   I would estimate the machine has less then 300 working hours on it.  Again, item is 100% functional.   There is no warranty left on the machine, and it is being sold as is as I am not willing to cover costs incurred by a "newbie" ie. user error, or consumables.  The only part I had to replace is the laser tube itself, which is standard maintenance (consumable).  The laser tube in the machine is almost new, and I would estimate it to have less then 20 hours on it.  They are rated to last up to 1500 hours, although I will not guarantee that as it varies with use, care, etc.  IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION MECHANICALLY AND LOOKS GREAT ON OUTSIDE AS WELL.  INCLUDES WATER PUMP AND EXHAUST BLOWER AS WELL.  DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY SOFTWARE OR COMPUTER. CUTTING / ENGRAVING AREA:  9.5x12in.  PRODUCT SIZE:  UP TO 12x15. LASER POWER:  40W    This laser works great on wood, acrylics, and other softer materials.  Not a metals cutting / engraving machine. No software licenses, etc. included.  This is for the machine only.  You will need RetinaEngrave software to run the machine, which you can get from Full Spectrum and fslaser (dot) com.  You will also need a graphics / etc. software to build designs.  There are many options out there ranging from Adobe Illustrator to the free Inkscape.   Pickup preferred:  if picked up from our shop in Northern California, shipping charges from this listing will be refunded.    Ships to the lower 48 states only.  If you have any questions, contact me.
