Smelting furnace used very little, chamber is 6 inches in diameter and 11 inches deep concrete walls will withstand 3200°. The picture of the digital thermometer is after 30 seconds of being on. The unit will reach temperatures of 1900°. This unit runs on propane, Comes with 20 pound tank all the extra accessories you see in the picture, and a large block of graphite approximately 7 1/2 inches wide by 1 3/4 " thick and 26 inches long. This would be used for making your own molds. The graphite is workable just like wood. The original cost of the furnace and all the accessories was in excess of $600. I personally have melted zinc, aluminum, lead, silver, and gold with no problem. Any of those metals will be liquid in 30 minutes or less with burner in high flame. This is pick up only ! No shipping is offered. Approximate total weight is 120 to 150 pounds happy bidding.
