These gear motors were removed from working industrial prototypes, most of which have less than an hour of use, a few up to 20 hours. They were used as rotational actuators. These are excellent actuators or continuous rotational motors, completely sealed (fanless) so they can work in a dirty, industrial or outdoor environment. Bodine model 42A3BEPM. The application required an autoreset breaker and phoenix-style plug which are included (see photo). The breaker is matched to the motor so that if the application locks the motor the breaker will pop before the windings are damaged. We have inspected each motor and loaded tested them so we know they are in excellent working condition. Some have chips and scratches that do not impact their ability to function. These are fully reversible and can be used with our without a motor controller. (A switch and a 12V car battery will work fine.) These things are extremely strong, with 310 pound inches of torque, and they are designed for continuous operation for many years. We offer a full refund if you are not satisfied.
