 Hello, I have a 8kw Generac generator that was installed in the late 90's by my inlaws. It was installed by my wife's mother for her handicap brother and sister. The unit has worked until  a month ago when it didn't exercise like it usually does every 2 weeks. The over temp and over crank lights were on when I checked it. I reset it and tried to start it but it would only crank. I tried starting fluid but it would only start for a second then die and buzz. The Generac repairman says it is a stator/rotor issue and the parts are not available thru Generac so we are having a new one installed in about a week. It is being sold for parts or repair. It only has 210 hours on it. It can be seen at zip code 27870. Please ask any questions. Thank You!  Our new generator will be installed Tuesday Feb 9 so it will be available after the install.
