New Genuine Hoover Water and Solution Tank Rubber Valve Seal Part # 38784061 or 563226001 Note: Hoover changes part colors from time to time. Some original seals were black. It is currently orange in color. This auction is for a new rubber valve seal for the Solution Tank # 42272134 or # 42272145. I have included a picture of the tank that the seal fits. The seal is part of the valve assembly that goes inside the bottom of the tank. If your tank is leaking from the valve area then this is most likely the part that will fix the problem since the cleaning solution slowly degrades the seal over time, causing it to leak.
