Non brittle compound can be drilled, tapped and machined! Can be used to fix fluid leaks, very moisture & chemical resistant. Proprietary compound and base resin results in an unmatched end product Product is formulated to give a 90minute pot life @ 77deg. F. Hardens to 90% overnight, Can be post cured up to 425deg for more strength Independently tested against all major epoxy putties on the market. NONE OF WHICH EVEN CAME CLOSE!! Epoxies have become more popular among ameteurs and professionals alike. Some of the reasons for this are that epoxies as a rule are less offensive and are stronger plus typically give more working time than polyester resins. One of the most common things heard from epoxy users is that everything turned out great—except that there might have been a few soft spots in the work. This is a clear sign that the epoxy wasn’t mixed properly. You can avoid soft spots and many other problems by mixing epoxies in line with these simple guidelines. There are some things you should know before beginning. Epoxies work better in warmers areas with temperatures of 70deg.F or higher. Gloves need to be worn to avoid skin contact. If skin contact is made use only warm water and a laundry detergent. If a sticky feeling persists use some vinegar on a rag to remove. DO NOT USE SOLVENTS TO CLEAN EPOXY FROM SKIN!!! Solvents may however be used to clean up tools and working area. Once you have measured the resin and hardener, pour both of them into a common container. Be certain to scrape all of the material from containers. After mixing the epoxy in the first container for several minutes scraping the sides and bottom pour the mix into a fresh container and again mix for another minute or so. Following this process eliminates the chance that there will be any unmixed material to ruin your project. Mix only by hand! No power mixers-they create heat and air bubbles.
