Getac PS336 Data Collector - microsurvey-fieldgenius These rugged field ready Windows Mobile® handhelds were built to meet GeoMax requirements for power, functionality and reliability, ensuring that they always “work when you do”. The PS336 series is a high performance, rugged handheld for real time communications, even in harsh conditions. With Windows® embedded, this essential device provides an open system to any compatible software, including FieldGenius and X-Pad. The PS336-E model offers the option to fit a long range Bluetooth® cap for remote control in combination with the Zoom80 robotic Total Station. With its new Quadra-Clear™ technology the PS336 display offers total clarity even in bright sunlight. This all-in-one solution, neatly integrates a built in GPS receiver, E-compass, altimeter and 5m pixel auto focus camera with video function. General PS336 Series Improvements With its new Quadra-Clear™ technology the PS336 display offers enhanced visibility even in bright sunlight. The operating time has been increased significantly allowing continuous work for up to 15 hours. The new Lifetime™ Support technology allows a battery change during operation without needing to switch off. The environmental protection has been significantly increased: IP68 rated that ensures complete dust tightness and water protection, even if continuous immersed. Now fulfills the military MIL-STD.810G standard. The shock resitance has been enhanced such that the device withstands a drop from a height of 1.8 meters. Significantly enlarged internal memory with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB NAND. The processor speed has increased to 1GHz, allowing faster data processing especially when using graphics. The PS336 supports “Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network)” connections, allowing for example to forward RTK corrections that have been received via WLAN from a CDMA device via Bluetooth to the GNSS receiver. This feature eliminates the requirement of a cable connection between the datalogger and receiver. The PS336 is provided in yellow to better match to the overall colour scheme of the GeoMax equipment.
