This 10" long glass viscometer is absolutely pristine.  (Now it does have my finger prints on the outside.) We found it in an unopened box in my father-in-law's hoard and he said they were being thrown away in the early 1990s when the lab he was working in was closing.  The viscometer has a Industrial Research Glassware Ltd. Calibration Certificate reading 2.56183 at 100F and 2.54902 at 210F.  I don't know what that means except that it appears to be many significant figures. It is also identified as viswcometer number E790 and that it is a 450 size. (Whatever that means.)  There is also a general sheet in the box giving "instructions for the use of the Cannon-Fenske Routine Viscometer."  The 450 is rated at approximately 2.5 centistokes/second and has a kinematic viscosity range of 500 to 2500. Hope someone is at least willing to find a home and use for the viscometer.  Is it in a range useful for fermentation?  I have no idea. Please keep shipping costs in mind when bidding.
