I've had this same bottle for about 3 years and use it actually pretty frequently and it hasn't dried out yet. Great for ceramic and most metals (such as gluing a stud back on an earring); will work on some plastics, but I don't know of any one-part retail super glue that does all. The gel is easier to work with. If you do get any on your fingers, it comes off easily with any acetone-based nail polish remover.
