High Quality, 4” X 4”, Single Layer CVD Graphene Sheet on Copper Foil Description: Qty. 1, High Quality, 4” x 4” single layer graphene sheet on copper foil (please forgive the low quality photos) Thickness of Cu: 25 µm The graphene is grown on both sides of the copper foil, although the top side is electropolished and has graphene of very high quality Coating the graphene with polymeric support and etching the underlying copper foil allows the graphene film to be transferred to other substrates such as glass, Si, or plastic films [Li, X.; Zhu, Y.; Cai, W.; Borysiak, M.; Han, B.; Chen, D.; Piner, R. D.; Colombo, L.; Ruoff, R. S. Nano Lett. 2009, 9, 4359] Cu foil with single layer graphene can exhibit discoloration after prolonged storage in ambient air due to oxidation but this does not affect the quality of the graphene film Graphene properties: Sheet resistance: ~400-500 ?/sq on PET Transparency: ~97% Coverage: 98% single layer Synthesis method: CVD Grain size: tens of microns The features of the Raman spectrum included for this graphene sample are: D/G ratio is under 0.05 (very high quality graphene) The D peak, at 1340 1/cm The G peak, at 1580 1/cm The 2D peak (or G’) at 2675 1/cm The number of defects in the graphene can be determined by the intensity of the D peak.  The spectrum of perfect, defect-free graphene does not have a D peak.  D peak readings can also originate from grain boundaries, chemical dopants and other factors. Depending on the transfer methods, D/G ratio below 0.03 is achievable for this graphene.
