Up for auction is an engraving saw we purchased from Gravograph New Hermes. They're a French Company that make excellent engraving machines and materials. This saw is actually made in Switzerland by Varga, but sold in the United States by Gravograph. The saw is in excellent working condition and comes with the chip evacuation attachment and the carbide blade. We usually take the blade down to our local tool store for sharpening which only costs about $9. The only reason we're selling this saw is because we've outgrown it and need to purchase the next larger model the VA11 which has an even larger cutting capacity. The main advantage of this saw over using a shear is the ability to cut acrylic. This saw cuts through acrylic leaving a nice smooth edge, where a shear would chip the acrylic. You can also cut very thin strips safely and repeatably using the built in material stop.
