This easy to use tone probe features real-time, proportional signal processing, ac Alert hazardous AC voltage warning, advanced Nautilus® ergonomics and a headset connection with improved signal fidelity. It works on a variety of tones - 500 Hz to 2.5 kHz. The Greenlee 500XP features mains hum filtering, bandpass filters and dual LED indicators for real-time signal feedback. • Two Button Control: Simple, easy to use operation.  • Dual LED Indicators: Provides real-time proportional signal strength feedback.  • Mains Hum Filtering: Eliminates hum noise, so you can focus on tracing the correct wire.  • Industry Standard: Works with a variety of toners (500 Hz to 2.5 kHz).  Greenlee 77HP-G Tone Generator Features: Permits technicians to identify the conductor within a bundle, at a cross-connect point or at the remote end Can be used on twisted pair wiring (telecom, datacom, etc.), single conductors, coaxial cables, de-energized AC wiring and most other wiring
