I was told that this is a Gressel High Pressure Machine Vise. It's just under 8" and made in West Germany and I would bet it's from the late 70's or 80's. I'm selling because this vise is far bigger and heavier than anything I will need. It came from a closed down steel mill.   The vise is free and could be cleaned up, but there is a gouge in the top from someone not paying attention. I do not have a handle for it, but it shouldn't be hard to track one down or make one for it.  I don't know the weight of the vise. Again, it's very heavy. Local pickup is offered, but I will work with someone if you would like to get it shipped. I won't actually set up the shipping, but if you would like to do that I'll be available for pickup at a commercial location with a dock.  Please ask any questions before bidding.
