This process ensures that the mounting medium spreads under the coverglass, eliminating any air bubbles. The completed slide is automatically transferred to the storage rack by the storage fork, where the process is repeated for each slide. The Hacker/Meisei RCM-3655 Robot Coverslipping Machine Accs is a high-quality piece of equipment that can process 150 slides every hour. The stainless steel 20-slide baskets are ideal for carrying slides into the Robot Coverslipper, and the position of the slide is detected by an electronic eye. The Magic Fingers pick up the slide and place it horizontally on the storage fork, while the coverglass is lifted from the coverglass holder. What is even more impressive is that this whole process takes only 22.5 seconds per slide, making the effective rate for the standard RCM 160 slides per hour. Ideal for slides with dimensions of 76 x 26mm with a thickness of 0.9-0.17mm, and a width of 22 or 24mm and length of 24,30,40,50 and 55mm, this machine is incredibly versatile.
