The HJ3100 boasts a high-mass flow and low vacuum system that effectively cleanses the air. The HAKKO HJ3100 is an effective fume extraction unit that is specifically designed for soldering stations, capturing contaminated air at the source. The HJ3100 is designed for use with a Loc-Line hose and rectangular hood (sold separately), and its efficiency is greater than 98% at 0.3 microns. The filters used comprise of three stages, with a treated polyester material pre-filter that removes dust particles, extending the life of the main HEPA filter. Utilizing flexible or rigid ducts, the contaminated air is transferred to the HJ3100 unit where two filters remove contaminants. This product is available for shipping within the US only. The HEPA filter is made of pleated fiberglass paper medium, providing a greater surface area within the filter case, and carbon filters with absorption ratings of 80-85%.
