If the spindle has a proper shrink fit to the bearings, they do not require a retention collar. Runout is .0005" or better. We use premium parts. These bearings are rated to 13,000 RPM. Our angular contact bearings come in one of two ways; sealed and unsealed. Your new bearings are permanently sealed and lubricated. They do no require any maintenance.
