Heartsaver AED AnytimeThis American Heart Association self-directed personal learning program effectively teaches the skills of CPR and AED in half the time of a traditional course! Heartsaver AED Anytime is a self-directed learning program that provides a flexible, research-proven alternative to the traditional classroom style Heartsaver AED course. It allows students to learn adult CPR and AED skills individually or in large group settings, and at their own pace. The core skills of CPR and AED are taught utilizing a 30 minute DVD, a personal manikin (Mini Anne™) and the Heartsaver AED Anywhere CD-ROM (45 minutes). Heartsaver AED Anytime offers a flexible innovative solution for CPR and AED skills training in the workplace. The program was designed for commercial companies, corporations, businesses or other entities that need or want to provide CPR and AED training to their employees or designated first responders, but who face many logistic obstacles such as the cost of having employees away from their jobs, high employee turnover, and scheduling conflicts. Some of the industries that are specifically featured in Heartsaver AED Anytime include: Business and Industry (office settings, industrial sites, etc.) Health and Fitness Hospitality and Transportation Public Service (Law Enforcement, Security Guard, Government, Military) Retail (Shopping Malls, etc.) Parks and Recreation. There are three steps to completing the Heartsaver AED Anytime program: The student learns and practices CPR skills using the CPR Skills Practice DVD either at the workplace or home. The student completes the Heartsaver AED Anytime CD-ROM using a computer. After the student has gone through each lesson in the CD-ROM, he/she prints out a certificate indicating that they have successfully completed the AED segment of the course. The student completes a Heartsaver AED Anytime CPR/AED skills test at one of our regularly scheduled skills tests
