Okay, then--here we go.  I found this with a bunch of Harley-Davidson and motorcycle cop leathers, but I'm just not exactly sure what I have here.  It looks like a very thick, soft kidney belt with a slide-on carrier for a nightstick or a flashlight.  But someone said it might have been used by a lineman/pole climber.  The black leather is very heavy and soft, and I can find no brand name on it.  The belt is a total of 46 inches long with a big, heavy silver buckle with two hole-catch spines.  The back kidney panel area is 24.5 inches long and 3 inches wide at the middle of the back.  Sections are sewed and also secured with big, heavy two-headed silver-colored metal rivets.  The non-buckle end has nine pairs of vertical holes for waist adjustment sizing.  I would say it goes easily from a size 32 to a size 40, depending on your looseness-tightness preference.  I would say the belt could be worn alone as one of those old-fashioned leather kidney belts that weight-lifters used to wear.  (It's easy to slide the tool carrier off.) The heavy leather tool carrier measures 9.5 x 5.25 inches, with 8 of the heavy silver-colored metal two-headed (flat) rivets. The heavy metal ring (to hold a hammer or hand-cuffs?) is a semi-circle 2 inches tall by 3 inches wide. Why did I mention "Gay Interest"?  The soft heavy leather has a good, sweat-and-dirt aroma; it looks like a casual piece that a leatherman might wear; and the belt looks and feel like something that could have administered a tingling whipping or flogging in the olden days.  Hand-cuffs or other leather articles could be hung from the metal carrier semicircle, or that piece could be left home.  Like I said, I'm just not sure what I have here.  I do welcome enlightening comments from those-in-the-know out there in eBayLand.
