This belt shifter will start + stop any machine that runs on a 1 1/2"W leather belted , line shaft run machine + has two side by side 1 3/4"W x 4"D pulleys , one that idles + the other is fixed on the 7/8" diameter drive shaft. The 7/8" diameter drive shaft just needs a pulley attached to it , of your choosing to match the machine being operated. In Fine condition showing no evidence of heavy use , the bearings + moving parts all feel tight + the rope pulled shifter control works perfectly with plenty of spring snap. Has No chips , cracks , welds or replaced parts + retains most of it's original finish. The overhead mounting base measures 7 3/4" x 6" with four 5/8"D bolt holes.
