SOFTWARE We offer our computers in a "Ready to install" condition, which means that they are fully functional, datawiped and cosmetically graded condition. There is no software installed on this computer, so In order for it work you will need to install an operating system (Windows Mac or Linux). The auction will indicate if a licence key is present to validate a windows install. WHY DON’T OUR COMPUTERS HAVE SOFTWARE ON THEM? The computers we sell on eBay have been through our asset management process. Many will be from schools, councils or businesses. We have to wipe data from everything we receive for privacy and data security reasons. Many buyers are comfortable with installing their own software or will want to install a different version of windows than the one originally installed when the laptop or PC was new.
