The CR18DL Recip Saw offers a Heavy Duty Tool-Less Blade change and the C18DL Circular Saw has a left mounted blade. All of these tools are easily maintained with externally accessible brushes. Hitachi's Li-Ion Batteries are backwards compatible with Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries and the charger that comes with this kit can also charge all 3 types of batteries (Li-Ion, Ni-Cad and Ni-MH). Not compatible with 1.5Ah Lithium Ion Slide Style Batteries (BSL1815X). Li-Ion Batteries are good for up to 2,000 charge cycles, weigh 40% less and run 25% longer per charge.
