Ladies and Gentlemen, up for your culinary pleasures, is my used but in pristine condition, Hobart Slicer Model 2612 with a Knife Sharpener. Everything works as designed. For a small fee I can deliver it to you in the Phoenix, AZ Metro area or you can pickup your cheese & meat slicer in Buckeye, Arizona. Alternatively you can have it shipped via UPS Ground to your address for an extra $150.00 in the lower 48 states only. Shipping will require a couple extra days, as I'll have to make the box and packing before I ship it. (The shipping box, made of 1/2 inch plywood, with Styrofoam packing, will measure approximately 36 x 25 x 20 inches and weigh about 150 pounds. The carriage and sharpener will come in a separate package.) Dear EBAYER, You may be wondering why eBay shipping charges are going higher and higher. As an eBay buyer, I want you to be aware that eBay has recently changed their fee structure for us sellers, to include an additional, 11% on shipping charges. As a consequence, I have to charge a minimum of a $1 handling fee on everything I sell, to cover eBay's additional 11%! Obviously, they should stay out of the shipping fees, but since they're the only game in town, there's not much else I can do about it. Of course it doesn't end there, afterward PayPal, takes a fee on the total eBay transaction to include, insertion fees, listing fees, final value fees, and now shipping charges. Combined, eBay and PayPal on average, take 20% of everything I sell, every month! Further, we sellers have to buy and store most all our shipping supplies like, paper, ink, glue, envelops, boxes, packing, and tape. Finally, in order to speed up the process and keep shipping costs down, we expend our time and gasoline to drive to the shipping facilities to drop off your package.
