Up for sale is a Hobart Pulper Waste Equipment System, model EL51224, and the accompanying Hobart Waterpress.  This setup came from a high school in South Carolina that went through a total kitchen renovation and it was replaced by a new unit.  This unit was working when it was removed from the school.  I observed it in operation, so I can tell you first hand that it in fact was working properly.  It's very clean and in very good cosmetic condition. Included is the Ecolab Drymax system.  This system can save $1,000s each year on water, sewer, trash bills, and labor.    A few specs on this system, per Hobart literature: EL51224 24" diameter pulper tank 11.25" diameter pulping disk Carbide cutting edges Pulper motor 5 HP Process up to 700 pounds per hour No need to sort paper from food waste Up to 85% reduction in waste volume Waterpress Squeezes waste slurry and returns water to pulper for reuse.
