This is a workhorse spectrum analyzer! Like all of this era, they were made to run forever! And as expected, this unit still works 100% as far as I am aware. I have NEVER had any problems with it. It works very well, the display is bright and sharp. I have had it for many years and would not be getting rid of it if I wasn't having to downsize my home workshop. One of the things that I really like about it is you can easily identify as signal and home right in on it. After a half hour or so of being ON, it becomes quite stable, but of course, it will never be as stable as the newer digital units that only corporations can afford. The 182T can be used with many other spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and who knows what else. This is NOT a light piece of equipment to ship so please check the cost to ship this from Canada, T2J 0Y6 to your ZIP code or country. This will give an approximate cost for shipping. I do not charge for packaging or handling. It appears that others like to charge what they want for their item in the shipping charges, and have the auction for the shipping fees. I don't do this. There is one knob that has been damaged primarily to age and use. HP changed the design of this knob with the next gereation of analyzer. I have repaired it, but have not installed it. It will be packaged in a small box so that it can't get damaged again. Also, there is some cosmetic damage as shown in the photos. This does not in anyway affect the performance of this item This item will be double boxed to prevent damage in shipping, and will be fully insured for the winning bid price plus shipping cost. It comes with the manual on CD and the power cord. Both the 182T and the 8558B sell on line for $400 and up. Here's your chance to save a few bucks. SHIPPING: I will ship anywhere as long as TRACKING is available. If I can’t track the package to your location, then consider the sale null and void. Lately, I have shipped items to countries that do not offer tracking, and can take 6 weeks or longer for a parcel to arrive, and then have a claim against me in 3 weeks for an item not received. Hence, the "Can't track, can't ship" policy that I have had to implement. This does not affect most countries. However if it does affect your purchase, I will work with you to get the package to you another way, other than Canada Post. This may end up being FEDEX or UPS, which will cost much more than regular mail services.
