This is a large format inkjet printer for making professional prints. See the links below for more product information: • http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c00806119 • https://luminous-landscape.com/hp-z3100-printer-review/ I believe this printer has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, I don't have time to spend on it right now (and it's taking up a lot of space), so I have decided to sell it. Please read the description below carefully so that you know exactly what you are bidding on. I have tried to provide as much detail about the printer's condition as possible. If you have any questions, let me know. I'll get you the information you need. I have set the price low because I am hoping to sell it quickly. Condition and History The printer is currently functional (i.e. it will make prints), but there are some image quality issues (broken lines, missing colors, color casts, dirty roller marks, etc.). See the images above for some recent test prints (made in the past few days). As far as I know, there is nothing seriously wrong with the printer—it just needs a good clean. Some of the ink cartridges and some of the print heads may need to be replaced. Some of the ink lines may need to be purged. I don't know for sure. You will need to do some detective work. There are a few screws missing from the body of the printer. I discovered this when I took it apart to replace the main CPU fan, which had started rattling (the fan bearings were failing). I obtained the printer second-hand. Clearly someone had taken it apart before. In my time with the printer (since mid 2014), I have done several things to it: • replaced the main CPU fan (the bearings in the old fan were wearing out and making an annoying noise) • replaced the Light Cyan, Magenta, Red, Green, and Gloss Enhancer cartridges • replaced the PK-LG printhead (the one in the printer is practically new) The ink cartridges are a rather motley crew. Some of them are expired (see the picture above) but still have a lot of ink in them. Some are new (I replaced the 'E' gloss enhancer cartridge in just the past few days). During the time that I have owned the printer, I have mostly left it plugged in and turned on (so that it could perform its regular self maintenance). Also Included The listing also includes: • the rolling stand and catch apron (not pictured but in good condition) • two 3D-printed roll adapters so that the printer can accept 3-inch rolls of paper • the power cord and a USB cable Shipping Due to the size and weight of the printer, no shipping is available. I have listed it for local pickup only. Please bring some strong arms with you. If you live in the NYC area, I may be able to deliver the printer to you in my car. We would have to discuss this.
