Welcome to my site! Up for sale is a Hurst Spreader It has a manufacturer's stamp: "47309FB" It's pretty big and heavy. The outsides of the jaws measure: 5 1/4"and the insides of the jaws measure 3 1/4" The entire tool, from the jaws' tips to the base (not including hydraulic hoses) measures 30" It weighs about 41 lbs Item won in government surplus auction from police department Comes exactly as shown, with what is shown. Item Description: Please read and please see photos. I try to describe items as accurately as possible through photos and written explanation. Item was won from a government surplus auction. I don't have the equipment to test the item for myself, but I was told by county employees that the item was working. The jaws look good. There is a nick in the metal on the cutter's edge, but otherwise it still looks pretty sharp. Cosmetically, there are markings all over from use, but it does not look like it has any structural damage other than the nick in the cutter's edge. The HURST sticker is wearing off. "County #27269" has been etched into the metal. If you have any questions, please ask and I will respond quickly!
