Link to the Manual: ICS Electronics 4823 Interface Card Manual Description: The 4823 is usd to interface Binary or BCD instruments to the IEEE 488 Bus. The 4823 can be configured to accept data from the bus and convert it to parallel BCD or Binary data for the instrument, or to convert BCD or Binary data from an instrument and format it for the bus. The 4823 is cotnrolled by a program in an on-board EPROM. It can be furnished with a special program to perform any combination of or 2 talk or 1 or 2 listen channels when passing data between the IEEE 488 Bus and an instrument. Indicators: LEDs: PWR ON when card has +5 Vdc and has passed self-test, RDY ON when STATUS A & B lines are TRUE, MTA ON when 4823 is addressed to TALK, MLA ON when 4823 is addressed to LISTEN, Flashing LEDs indicate self-test failure.
