Total Lymphocyte/Monocyte Count (L/M) refers to stained lymphocytes and monocytes and is reported as L/M x 109/L. Percentage Lymphs/Monos can also be expressed as a % of the total white cell count and displayed as % L/M. Platelet Count (PLT) refers to stained platelets, and the length of this band is converted into a numerical platelet MCHC refers to Mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration and is calculated as hemoglobin/hematocrit x 100. Product Description: Idexx QBC Vet Autoreader with Centrifuge Total Granulocyte Count (GRANS) refers to the buffy coat segment, which consists of granulocytes such as neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils. The length of this band is converted into a total granulocyte count and reported as GRANS x 109/L. Percentage Granulocytes, on the other hand, are expressed as a percentage of the total white cell count and displayed as % GRANS. Eosinophils (EOS) and Neutrophils (NEUT) are only available for canine and bovine samples; high levels of eosinophils can be recognized and quantified by the analyzer. In these cases, the eosinophil count and neutrophil count (by subtraction) are printed after the % GRANS. Any basophils present are included in the neutrophil count. This hematology machine has been previously used for 3 years in a shelter but is still in great condition and fully functional. It comes with cbc cartridges that will expire in July.
