For your consideration, IMA VEIN" a 7.5" flat IV practice device that is generically designed to help prepare nurses, students, lab techs, EMT's for successful live venous cannulation.  It is also useful for demonstration of vascular access products.  It features one large "vein".  Successful cannulation can be confirmed by looking at a light source through the "vein".  Besides being very affordable, it is very natural feeling and durable enough to withstand hundreds of punctures.  22 and 20 gauge catheters recommended.  Developed by two experienced infusion nurse educators in 1995, formally marketed by Needlepoints, LLC.  Shipping more than 10 will cost 1.00 for each additional unit purchased.
