Inconel 718 AMS 5832C TIG Wire THIS IS THE "GOOD STUFF" This listing is for a ten pound, unopened sealed plastic bag containing 36" lengths of .045" diameter 718 Inconel TIG wire. Each length is flag tagged to insure identification. I was told that .045" is no longer made so if you are welding thinner material the .045" will need less heat input than 1/6" TIG wire. The most current price I was able to get for 718 AMS 5832C was for $65.10 per pound of 1/16" diameter wire, which equates to $651.00 per ten pound bag. SAVE NOW SAVE HERE I am selling my inventory of this material for $50.00 per pound THIS IS A 23.2% DISCOUNT Don't need ten pounds NO PROBLEM I will sell it by the pound for $55.00 per/lb. This is not as good of a deal as buying a ten pound sealed package, BUT it is still over $10 per pound cheaper. BUY MORE SAVE MORE I have had a multitude of people making me ridiculous offers of $50 & $100 for this material. I purchased this material from the Pratt & Whitney Surplus store so there is no question that it is of aerospace quality.................they don't waste money on substandard materials. OK, So, now you want to know what this TIG wire is used for..... Inconel Filler Metal 718 is recommended for gas tungsten arc and gas metal arc welding of alloy 718, 706 and X-750. This double gamma prime alloy has excellent strength, good ductility up to 1300 degrees F, good formability and weld ability. It also possesses excellent cryogenic properties which accounts for its varied application. Uses for this alloy are mainly welding aircraft high strength components and liquid rocket components involving cryogenic temperatures. No warrantees are made either expressed or implied. The packaged weight is 11lbs.
