Camtronics Inc has been in the CNC business since July 1993. No other Ebay seller has been around that long!. Camtronics was the first Beta tester of the G540 and help Mariss at Gecko drive resolve some issues with the prototypes. Camtronics Can provide just about any G540 configuration you could want. Introducing the new Camtronics Inc Incredible 5 axis GeckoDrive G540+1 G251 control box using the Ethernet Smooth Stepper (ESS). This is the only 5 axis control box using the terrific Gecko Drive products. Camtronics has built many 2,3,4,5,6 and 8 axis systems in the past. With the ESS it is easy to run 5 axis or at addition expense we can add a 6th axis. Camtronics recently pick up a 4th and 5th axis stepper drive mechanism and decided to manufacture a control box for it using the G540 plus an additional 3.5A 10 micro step driver for the 5th axis. The steppers on the 4/5th axis are 3.5A motors. The female connector is for the 5th axis motor and the other female connector is for the 2 external relays ( not Included), a male connector for either a tool setter probe or a digitizing probe, another connector is for the XYZ home/limit switches and another for a VDF. The front panel have a lighted on off switch, and ESTOP switch and an output engage/disengage switch c\that allows the user to manually move any of the dual shaft motors.. The rear panel has a fused IEC power entry module, a 3 prong receptacle for loads up to 700 watts. The G540 and 5th axis db9 connector is set up with pins1 and 5 for I-set and pins 6-9 for the standard G540 motor pin out. The power supply is a a 48V 500W and can run 5 axis simultaneously. Runs great. Included is a ethenet cable, , a CD with a 5 axis mach3 screen set, 5 db9 connectors and housing and a mach3 config file. This control box can be used on machine tools sizes up to including most mill drills and CNC routers. Upon request I can provide a config file for slaving the 5th axis and another mach3 XML file for using the 5th axis as a spindle. This system can be used with EMC but we don't have a config file for it. I can also provide any combination of stepper motors the buyer wants at additional cost.
