First, a quick note about the items I sell here on eBay:  Everything I sell is made in my shop, by me, by hand.  Because of this, there might be small variations between what you see pictured and what you receive.  Some things may vary from piece to piece like exact grain of the wood used, or exact sizes on certain items like kazoos.  Also, since I make everything either one at a time or in small batches, delivery times may take longer than expected.  I have been trying my best to keep an 'inventory' on hand, but have been having trouble meeting demands on an immediate basis for small items like tools, kazoos, mandolin armrests, etc.  On top of everything that you see listed on my eBay page, I build around 10 instruments a year as well as repair work.  Time is tight, so bear with me until I can train my dog to use a hand plane haha! ******** This listing is for a small stainless steel scribe with handle made out of the wood of your choosing.  I usually keep a few of these on hand in Rosewood, Redheart, Purpleheart, Yellowheart, Bocote, and Lignum Vitae.  Just leave me a note with your order regarding what wood you desire, even if its not listed here.  The tool leaves a fine, accurate, line for your routing tool, and is more comfortable to hold and maneuver than solid steel scribes sold by Stewmac. Both scribes are pictured side by side in some of the photos to give a size comparison. 1/8" diameter tapered steel bit is secured in place with a brass pressure collar and epoxy. Resharpened using a standard oil or water stone, or even fine grit sand paper and a strop. Finished with Danish Oil and Beeswax. Overall length is ~4.25" Bit is roughly 2" long Length of body is ~3.25" Body diameter is ~1/2" at its widest point.
